Responsibilities:
Role is to design the Payload architecture from scratch which includes RF Front End, Baseband Layer (Digital Signal Processing), MAC Layer, Data Storage & Processing, Power system & Thermal Management.
You are also going to work on SOC design as per the Payload Architecture.
Provide your tech leadership skills for future of satellite design.
Qualifications:
BS/ MS/ Phd degree in Aerospace/ Electrical/ Electronics/ relative Engineering.
Take the end to end responsibility & work independently for the product development & execute work as per the tight timeline.
Experience in designing RF frontend & Baseband processing. Working on defining and development of Payload functional flow.
Strong programming skills in Matlab, FPGA & C/ C++
Better understanding of communication theory & its implementation in real world.
Software development experience in SDR development for various wireless standards (SatCom &Navigation preferred). If experience is in SDR development for space vehicle segment then it’s much better.
Strong understanding on Modem & layers programming in both RTL & C.
Work on design details of Payload which aligns with the prospective mission requirements for wide range of applications.
Experience:
15+ yrs of experience in designing payload for low to high powered satellites.
Significant software development experience on DSP processor & Xilinx FPGA boards.
Experience on development of Payload Systems from scratch for various missions requirements.
Experience in Payload development for SAR & 5G NTN based satellites would also be given high preference.
Experience in development & implementation of interoperability algorithms.
