Description:
We’re looking for an experienced SCADA Manager to take full ownership of the SCADA systems lifecycle across our EPC and O&M solar photovoltaic (PV) portfolio.
You’ll be leading the design, implementation, operation, and continuous optimization of our industrial control systems. This is a high-impact role that bridges technical leadership, vendor management, and digital innovation in one of the fastest-growing sectors — renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Engineering & Design
- Architect SCADA systems tailored for PV projects
- Integrate inverters, utility meters, IoT devices, and weather stations
- Support system drawings, wiring diagrams, and compliance documentation
✅ Vendor & Procurement
- Define SCADA specs for EPC/O&M tenders
- Evaluate vendors and manage SLAs, licenses, and cost control
✅ Construction & Commissioning
- Oversee on-site SCADA installations and FAT/SAT procedures
- Configure devices and ensure robust communications protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.)
✅ Operations & Monitoring
- Manage central SCADA platforms and ensure system uptime
- Build performance dashboards with Power BI
- Coordinate system updates, VPN access, and cybersecurity protocols
✅ Troubleshooting & Development
- Lead root cause analysis for SCADA and PLC/HMI issues
- Implement system enhancements (cloud, edge, automation, BI)
✅ Leadership & Coordination
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, and O&M teams
- Act as the technical point of contact for external vendors and clients
- Mentor junior engineers and support SCADA terms in EPC/O&M contracts
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related
- 8–12 years of SCADA experience, ideally in renewable energy or solar PV
- Demonstrated success in leading SCADA design, commissioning, and O&M
Technical Expertise
- Systems: SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, ERP Integration
- Protocols: Modbus, OPC-UA/DA, DNP3, MQTT, IEC 61850
- Tools: Odoo, Power BI, Azure IoT Hub, SQL, AutoCAD
- Cybersecurity: VPNs, remote access, network topology, hardening
- Cloud/IoT: Device strategy, edge computing, Azure DevOps
