School Facility Manager

Description:

The Facility Manager will be responsible for carrying out the core duties associated with the position and
applying the specialist knowledge and skills identified in the recruitment brief.


Requirements

What You Will Do

Oversee the school's facilities, buildings, equipment and general physical environment.
Coordinate preventive maintenance planning to reduce breakdowns and maintain operational readiness.
Support health and safety standards across the school premises.
Coordinate vendors, contractors and service providers and monitor the quality of completed work.
Identify facility issues, prioritise maintenance needs and escalate significant risks appropriately.
Maintain appropriate records relating to maintenance, contractors, facilities and safety activities.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Education / Qualification: BSc/HND in Estate Management, Engineering, or related field, school
experience preferred
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Special Skills / Training: Health & Safety certification, vendor/contractor management, preventive
maintenance planning
