URGENT HIRING: School Public Relations Officer (PRO)
Gulf Model School is currently looking for an experienced, well-organized, and reliable Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government liaison activities and staff documentation processes for the school. This role is ideal for a professional who has strong hands-on knowledge of UAE labour and immigration procedures and can independently handle applications, renewals, and compliance requirements.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all staff-related government processes are completed accurately, on time, and in line with UAE regulations, while also supporting the HR department with documentation and onboarding activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage staff visa processing, renewals, cancellations, and Emirates ID applications
• Handle labour contracts, work permit applications, and renewals through MOHRE
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records on labour and immigration portals (MOHRE / ICP / GDRFA)
• Coordinate medical fitness tests and health insurance applications or renewals
• Ensure full compliance with UAE government regulations and any updates affecting school staff
• Liaise professionally with relevant government departments when required
• Support the HR team with staff onboarding and document control
Requirements:
• Minimum 2–3 years of UAE experience in a PRO or government relations role
• Strong working knowledge of MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, and other UAE government systems
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an added advantage)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
• Presentable, organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
