Senior Accountant

Description:

Sky High HR Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations. This position involves managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, including bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. The role requires an individual with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of bookkeeping, payroll, and invoicing accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with company policies and UAE standards.
• Manage accruals, provisions, and general ledger entries.
• Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Maintain compliance with VAT, financial regulations, and company procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend process enhancements for greater efficiency.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance when necessary.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within manpower supply or contracting firms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accruals, and provisions.
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
