Senior Accountant

Description:

We are hiring an experienced and detail-focused Senior Accountant to join a growing Real Estate and Facility Management organization based in Ajman. This opportunity is well-suited for finance professionals with UAE market exposure who are comfortable handling end-to-end accounting operations, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting within a structured environment.

Role Summary:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations, supporting management reporting, and maintaining accurate financial data within ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and inter-company balance reviews
• Handle VAT accounting, filing, and compliance in line with UAE regulations
• Monitor monthly staff allocations and analyze cost variances
• Review financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Maintain and update accounting records within ERP systems

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA or Master’s qualification is preferred)
• 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with UAE experience preferred
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Oracle NetSuite preferred)
• Advanced MS Excel skills and financial analysis capability
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills
