Senior Chinese Localization Project Manager

Description:

The Project Manager will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s successful completion, including client calls, organization, and timeline. You must have solid experience in using Microsoft Excel, Teams, and the usual CAT tools. Candidates must have good English writing skills and be able to draft project reports, including status and post-mortems. A successful candidate will also need to conduct professional kick-off calls and ongoing client meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of corporate and technology projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, report on project metrics, and map key project dates to manage workflow.
• Conduct all client-facing calls from project kick-offs through post-mortems.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Prepare contingency planning for all projects.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Assist in the development and execution of standard operating procedures, processes, and quality improvements.
• Use our TMS to manage all aspects of translation projects.

Skills & Experience we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master's in a business-related discipline.
• 4 + years of proven working experience as a translation project manager.
