Senior Design Manager

Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both design consultancy and client/PMC environments, with proven experience delivering hotel and hospitality refurbishment projects. This is a hands-on position requiring technical design expertise, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple design disciplines and specialist consultants in a live hotel or phased refurbishment environment.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of design management experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE
• Proven hospitality design experience, ideally in hotel refurbishment and upgrades
• Strong background in managing design teams across multiple disciplines
• Experience working for both design consultancies and client/PMC organisations (essential)
• Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage mock-ups, phased works, and multiple specialist design packages
• Degree-qualified in architecture, interior design, or a related discipline
• Dubai experience is highly preferred
