Senior Exhibition Designer

 

Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Exhibition Designer, based in the UAE, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of exhibition design principles, a flair for innovation, and a strong command of 3D and 2D rendering software (specifically Corona or V-Ray). This role involves working closely with clients, understanding their vision, and creating visually captivating, functional, and unique exhibition stands that meet both creative and practical requirements. The Senior Designer will also be responsible for managing projects from concept through to final delivery, ensuring high standards of production and adherence to UAE exhibition guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Conceptualization and Design:

Develop and execute unique, innovative design concepts for exhibition stands, booths, and displays based on client requirements.

Brainstorm and create AI-driven style concepts and creative ideas for exhibitions.

Provide creative input for new trends, materials, and design styles to enhance the design process.

3D & 2D Renderings:

Utilize Corona or V-Ray for high-quality 3D and 2D renderings.

Produce detailed, realistic visualizations for client presentations and approvals.

Ensure design elements align with the client’s brand identity and exhibition goals.

Material Research & Innovation:

Conduct research to identify new and innovative materials for exhibition designs.

Collaborate with suppliers to select materials that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget constraints.

Production & Execution:

Oversee the production process, ensuring designs are implemented as intended.

Collaborate with production teams to maintain high-quality standards and timely delivery.

Understand and implement UAE exhibition standards, including health, safety, and technical specifications.

Project Management & Coordination:

Create and manage Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for each project.

Ensure all furniture, materials, and components meet client specifications and receive approval.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.

UAE Exhibition Standards & Regulations:

Stay updated on the latest exhibition standards, materials, and trends within the UAE.

Ensure all designs adhere to local regulations and exhibition venue requirements.

Client Interaction & Feedback:

Present design concepts to clients, adjusting as necessary based on feedback.

Build strong client relationships and provide creative advice for project improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

 

Experience: Minimum 4 years in exhibition design or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in 3D rendering software (Corona or V-Ray).

Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design software.

Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Creative Vision: Strong ability to think outside the box and develop unique, visually compelling concepts.

Material Knowledge: In-depth understanding of materials used in exhibition design, including cutting-edge materials and finishes.

Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects, coordinating with teams, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

UAE Exhibition Standards: Strong knowledge of local exhibition standards and regulations.

Education:

 

Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

 

Knowledge of current exhibition industry trends.

Ability to work under pressure and deliver on time.

Flexibility in managing evolving client needs and design revisions.

Must be based in the UAE.
