Description:
The Senior Landscape Architect will play a key role in leading design development and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, creative, and practical landscape solutions. You will be responsible for driving concept designs, preparing detailed technical drawings, and coordinating project execution in collaboration with the Lead Landscape Architect. This role requires both design flair and technical precision, along with the ability to mentor junior team members and engage with clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine concept, schematic, and detailed landscape designs that align with client goals and project requirements.
- Prepare high-quality drawings, models, and visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Photoshop.
- Contribute to BOQ preparation, material selection, and planting specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to design intent.
- Research innovative design solutions, planting techniques, and sustainable practices suitable for UAE/GCC climates.
- Provide guidance and feedback to junior architects and designers to ensure consistent standards across deliverables.
- Represent the design team in client presentations and project meetings as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture (Master’s preferred).
- 4–6 years of professional experience in landscape design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical capability, and project delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, and other relevant design tools.
- Solid understanding of construction detailing, planting design, and material applications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and client-facing skills.
