Senior Legal Associate

Description:

Madison Pearl is exclusively working with a government institution in Dubai who are expanding their Legal division and are seeking a Senior Legal Associate to join the team. Key responsibilities would include assisting the Legal Advisor in reviewing, drafting, and evaluating laws and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out in-depth legal research on domestic and international laws, regulations, and best practices to support legislative recommendations.
• Assist the Legal Advisor in drafting, editing, and preparing legal documents such as proposed laws, amendments, and position papers.
• Examine and assess current and proposed legislation to evaluate their legal implications and alignment with organization goals.
• Contribute to the preparation of detailed legal opinions, reports, and justifications for legislative submissions to government entities.
• Track legislative updates and communicate relevant changes that may affect the business community.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in law.
• 1 – 2 years of experience with leading legal research and legislative drafting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Only Emaratis with family book will be considered.
