Senior Manager

Description:

We are recruiting a Senior Manager, Design & Planning to lead the planning, design governance, and delivery oversight of mission-critical data center projects across the region.

The Role

Reporting into senior engineering leadership, you will act as design authority across a portfolio of hyperscale and large-scale data center projects from site selection and concept through to IFC, construction, and commissioning. You will coordinate internal teams, consultants, and contractors to deliver high-quality, compliant, and scalable design outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning management across all project stages, ensuring alignment with international standards and technical guidelines
• Drive site selection and due diligence, including power, utilities, constructability, and regulatory considerations
• Own design governance and technical assurance across all disciplines including electrical, mechanical, civil, and infrastructure
• Manage design consultants and specialist advisors, reviewing and approving key deliverables
• Act as primary technical interface with clients, authorities, and strategic partners
• Provide design leadership through construction, including RFIs, site instructions, and design changes
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing design and planning team

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 10–15 years' experience in design and planning of mission-critical infrastructure
• Strong exposure to international and hyperscale data center projects
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage consultants across geographies
