Senior Procurement Officer

Description:

We are looking for a proactive Senior Procurement Officer to lead sourcing, logistics, and supplier coordination across our bespoke manufacturing operations. A solid understanding of inventory flow, warehouse practices (including FIFO), and international logistics is essential. This role ensures the timely procurement of high-quality materials, supporting our commitment to precision, craftsmanship, and sustainability.

Main Responsibilities

· Manage the full procurement cycle for local and international suppliers in furniture, joinery, upholstery, and finishing materials.

· Develop strong supplier relationships and negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.

· Work closely with design, production, and logistics teams to forecast needs and ensure material availability.

· Ensure effective inventory control practices, including FIFO application and coordination with warehouse teams to optimize stock usage and minimize waste.

· Maintain procurement records, track performance, and resolve issues related to quality or delays.

· Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost-saving and sustainable sourcing.

· Ensure compliance with company quality and operational standards.

· Ability to manage procurement activities across multiple projects while working under tight timelines.

Skills & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

· At least 7 years of procurement experience in manufacturing or interior fit-out (preferably FF&E or bespoke furniture).

· Strong negotiation, planning, and analytical skills.

· Ability to manage multiple vendors and work under tight timelines.

· Strong understanding of logistics, international sourcing, and materials used in luxury manufacturing.
