Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Product Planner (retail) to join our team in the UAE. In this role, you will not only manage key planning functions across inventory, forecasting, and stock allocation but also oversee and mentor a team of junior planners and analysts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee and guide the planning team, ensuring tasks are prioritized, goals are met, and performance standards are maintained.
- Stock Management: Lead the management of stock portfolios across all locations, ensuring accurate forecasting and stock optimization.
- Forecasting & OTB: Drive the formulation of seasonal OTBs (Open-to-Buy) and ensure timely purchase order execution in coordination with the sourcing team.
- Replenishment & Allocation: Supervise the replenishment and allocation process to ensure product availability and efficient distribution.
- Performance Monitoring: Review team reports and stock data to identify gaps, drive corrective action, and support strategic decisions.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the key liaison between planning, sourcing, retail, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of stock strategies.
- Coaching & Development: Provide coaching and development to junior team members to build skills and enhance team capabilities.
Required Competencies:
