Description:
We are looking for an accomplished and hands-on Senior Project Manager with a civil engineering background to lead multiple construction projects across Dubai. The role requires someone who consistently delivers complex, mid-to-large scale projects on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards while navigating local regulations and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, execution and handoverof several civil and building construction projects concurrently.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients and internal teamsto ensure milestones are met and project objectives are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, RTA, etc.) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement plans and resource allocations.
- Monitor performancevia regular reporting, risk assessments and quality audits.
- Implement project controlsto manage cost, time and quality across active sites.
- Manage project teams including engineers, site managers and subcontractors to maintain accountability and productivity.
- Promote HSE complianceon all sites and act to mitigate hazards quickly.
- Identify risks and delays earlyand develop corrective action plans.
- Run progress meetings, prepare monthly reportsand communicate project status to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s or PMP/PMI is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years’ construction experience with at least 5 years working in Dubai/UAE.
- Proven ability to run multiple mid-to-large scale projects simultaneously.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes and local authority procedures.
- Experience with both public and private sector clients in Dubai.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract administration knowledge (FIDIC or equivalent).
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
