Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized quantity surveyor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between various stakeholders involved in the BOQ process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with our high-quality standards. The quantity surveyorr will collaborate with designers, project managers, and other key team members to drive efficiency and excellence in our projects.
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing bill of quantities.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of materials for the projects.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving materials to be purchased.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information.
- Maintaining good relations with sub-contractor and negotiating contracts.
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar will be preferred.
- 3+ year experience in a fit out company as quantity surveyor.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
