Senior Quantity Surveyor

Description:

[Trojan Construction Group is looking for a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor (Q.S.) to join our team and drive cost-control and contractual excellence across our UAE projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial judgment, hands-on estimating skills, and proven experience managing variations and claims on large-scale contracting jobs.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and produce detailed cost estimates for tendering and project control.
• Review, assess and certify interim payment applications in line with contract terms.
• Manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence to protect the company’s commercial position.
• Perform price analysis, monitor project costs, and implement effective cost-control measures.
• Coordinate closely with procurement to ensure supplier and contract compliance.
• Liaise with project teams, clients and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues and support project delivery.

Requirements:
• B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture Engineering.
• 7–10 years of quantity surveying experience within contracting companies, preferably in the UAE market.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and commercial reporting abilities.
• Able to work collaboratively on site and support multiple projects concurrently.
