Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager with deep roots in the UAE solar market to lead our utility-scale segment. You will be responsible for driving commercial growth, securing key module supply contracts, and managing relationships with the region’s top developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractors. This role focuses on large-scale projects (>5 MW) utilizing our breakthrough high-efficiency ABC technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the utility-scale sales strategy for the UAE market, with a focus on Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Identify, develop, and finalize multi-megawatt PV project agreements with key stakeholders.
- Leverage an existing network to build and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with developers, IPPs, EPC contractors, investment funds, and government entities (such as DEWA).
- Lead the full sales cycle, from early-stage technical discussions and financial modeling (LCOE) through to complex contract negotiations and closing.
- Collaborate closely with internal technical, legal, and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity, particularly regarding the UAE’s renewable energy targets and procurement frameworks.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade fairs, and networking events across the region.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the photovoltaic sector, with a proven track record of closing utility-scale projects in the UAE market.
- Established network of contacts among UAE-based developers, EPCs, IPPs, and government utilities.
- Solid understanding of PV technology, project economics (LCOE, CAPEX), and the specifics of the UAE renewable energy landscape (including DEWA, ADWEA, and public-private partnership frameworks).
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Higher education in Engineering, Business, Energy, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
- A genuine passion for renewable energy and sustainable development.
