Senior Service Employee

Description:

Our client, a leading provider of premium hospitality and catering services at one of the world's busiest international aviation hubs, is looking for Senior Service Employee for its upscale lounge and dining venues.

As the senior face of the service team, you will welcome an exclusive and diverse clientele — travellers, civil aviation officials, airport authority representatives, airline partners, and external guests — and deliver refined culinary and beverage experiences to the highest professional standard. You set the tone on the floor: composed, courteous, and positive, even in high-pressure moments, ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable impression.

The role covers our client's premium lounges and à-la-carte restaurants across two major airport terminals within the same metropolitan area, with rotation between venues as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistently elevated, guest-centred service so that every visitor enjoys a truly premium experience.
  • Support full table service throughout the meal cycle, keeping dining areas spotless, well-organised, and inviting by promptly clearing and resetting tables.
  • Carry out established opening and closing checklists so that the outlet is always fully prepared for service.
  • Adhere strictly to the company's hygiene and food-safety procedures, including correct food and equipment handling at all times.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and to the guest's satisfaction, escalating to the duty supervisor when needed.
  • Keep the Assistant F&B Supervisor informed of any guest complaints, staff absences, or stock shortages so issues are addressed quickly and operations run smoothly.
  • Help maintain adequate stock levels during each shift: verify incoming deliveries against orders for accuracy, quality, and quantity, then store or display items correctly to keep inventory records reliable.
  • Perform all cleaning, polishing, organising, collecting, loading, and dispatching duties assigned by the line manager in line with the company's operating standards.
  • Work within the company's certified quality management system (ISO 9001:2015), following departmental procedures and upholding the quality policy in every task.

Key Requirements:

  • Secondary/high school certificate — required
  • Diploma or an equivalent professional qualification — preferred
  • At least 3 years in hospitality, fine dining, or a comparable guest-facing environment; lounge, premium dining, or high-volume restaurant experience is a strong plus.
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Genuinely positive, service-first mindset
  • Solid customer-care and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
  • Well-organised, able to multitask, with strong attention to detail
  • A dynamic, multicultural workplace in a premium environment at a world-class aviation hub
  • Competitive tax-free remuneration and benefits package
  • Structured training and clear pathways for progression within the F&B team
  • The opportunity to represent a brand synonymous with five-star guest experiences
