Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning — Develop and execute short‑ and medium‑term strategies for the Statistics Department.
- Policy & SOP Development — Establish comprehensive policies, procedures, and SOPs for data operations.
- Lead the transformation of the department toward world‑class statistical excellence.
- Budget Leadership — Prepare, manage, and monitor the department’s annual budget in line with financial governance.
- Oversee the timely collection, processing, and analysis of trade statistics.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all statistical outputs.
- Deliver business intelligence insights on trade trends, risks, and economic indicators.
- Digital Transformation — Implement advanced technologies to enhance statistical systems.
- Represent the organization in local, GCC, and international statistical forums.
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of statisticians and analysts.
- Identify training needs and build institutional capabilities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications
- Nationality: Emirati only (Dubai passport).
- Experience: 10–12 years in statistics, trade data, or economic research.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior managerial role.
- Strong background in strategic planning, data governance, and process improvement.
- Experience in digital transformation of statistical systems.
