Social Media Content & Community Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Content & Community Specialist to support day-to-day execution across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. This role focuses on creating social media assets, editing short-form videos, scheduling posts, and managing basic community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing

• Design social media content (static posts, carousels)

• Edit/Create short-form videos for:

• TikTok
• Instagram Reels
• Facebook Reels

• Adapt raw materials (videos, screenshots, text prompts) into polished assets

• Ensure content follows brand style and visual guidelines

Posting & Scheduling

• Publish and schedule content across social media platforms
• Format captions and hashtags based on provided guidance
• Follow an agreed posting schedule and content plan

Community Management

• Monitor comments and messages on assigned platforms
• Respond using approved tone and templates
• Escalate inquiries or issues that require attention

Basic Tracking

• Provide simple weekly updates (posted content, engagement highlights)
• No deep analytics or reporting required

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Strong Canva skills
• Short-form video editing experience (Reels / TikTok)
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook posting workflows
• Experience handling basic community engagement (comments and DMs)
• Good written English

Nice-to-Have

• Experience supporting brands, startups, or small businesses
• Understanding of social media trends and hooks
