Description:
The Knowledge group is building the infrastructure that turns this proprietary expertise into a product: a next-generation CMS, country knowledge base, and a scalable system for surfacing product and regulatory logic across Deel. This includes near real time knowledge ingestion, the best in-class knowledge retrieval and a framework for customised knowledge apps.
If you’re excited about building foundational systems that touch almost every workflow in the business - and about disrupting global compliance by transforming messy, manual, fast-changing information into powerful, scalable software - this is the team to join.
What You’ll Do
As a Staff PM, you’ll:
- Own the Knowledge Platform and Knowledge Apps, CMS, and AI-powered knowledge distribution tools - used by thousands of customers and internal agents daily.
- Drive the automation and intelligent maintenance of large-scale, ever-changing content systems, especially around global labor laws and compliance data.
- Partner deeply with content, engineering, design, AI, support, legal, and GTM teams to build both backend systems and polished frontend experiences.
- Shape how knowledge is structured, stored, and distributed - from schema design to UX surface.
- Elevate Deel’s UI quality by using the Knowledge Hub as a flagship product for design and usability.
- Balance internal efficiency (CMS) with external delight (Hub, AI, and embedded surfaces).
- Drive clarity and rhythm within the team — managing planning, priorities, and execution through structured but lightweight agile practices.
- Work with our Knowledge content team to ensure the highest quality knowledge content.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You
- Are a senior or staff-level IC with 8–10+ years of experience owning complex internal + external products.
- Have experience with Information Retrival(AI Search, Ranking), RAG, AI/LLM tooling, automated knowledge extraction.
- Have experience with content platforms, structured data, CMSs, and AI-enabled search.
- Think in systems, abstractions, and schemas, and can work closely with engineers to bring those to life.
- Have worked on cross-org initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across teams.
- Are an excellent communicator - clear, persuasive, and able to turn chaos into clarity.
- Know how to absorb large volumes of input and distill it into actionable roadmaps.
- Are comfortable saying “no,” but always with a better path forward.
- Care deeply about quality - from content precision to frontend UX polish.
- Are a natural operator — you keep the trains running without turning everything into a process-heavy machine.
- Know how to run clean, effective agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, retros, standups) and adjust rituals to fit the team’s needs.
