Description:
Lead and deliver energy and sustainability projects from concept to completion including energy audits, retrofits, ESCO contracting, and digital platform optimization. The role requires deep expertise in energy management, financial modeling, automation systems, and client engagement while supporting broader sustainability initiatives such as carbon management, ESG reporting, and certifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: 10–15 years in energy management, ESCO delivery, or sustainability consulting.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering (or related).
Certifications: CEM, CMVP (LEED/ISO 50001 preferred).
Proven expertise in:
- Energy audits, retrofits, and optimization.
- SCADA, BMS, and automation systems (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, KNX, MQTT).
- IoT-enabled energy monitoring and smart metering.
- Financial modeling and commercial contract structuring.
- Integration of digital tools for energy, carbon, and sustainability tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Energy & ESCO Project Delivery
- Lead the Energy Team to deliver high-quality audits, feasibility studies, and implementation projects.
- Manage end-to-end ESCO performance contracts, including M&V (IPMVP), ROI validation, and vendor coordination.
- Supervise installations, ensuring compliance with safety, budget, and performance standards.
- Validate energy savings and emission reduction outcomes.
b. Financial & Commercial Management
- Develop detailed financial models (ROI, IRR, NPV, payback).
- Structure contracts for guaranteed and shared savings models.
- Conduct risk and sensitivity analyses to optimize project returns.
- Negotiate and manage client, vendor, and financing agreements.
c. Digital Tools & Innovation
- Oversee strategy, deployment, and enhancement of Farnek's digital platforms
- Integrate energy and sustainability data to track KPIs and performance.
- Lead go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and promotional activities for digital tools.
d. Sustainability & ESG Initiatives
- Support ESG reporting, carbon management, waste reduction, and sustainability certifications (LEED, ISO 50001, Green Globe, TRUE, WELL).
- Contribute to integrated sustainability solutions and cross-functional projects.
e. Business Development & Strategy
- Lead client engagement and business development for energy and sustainability services.
- Identify new market opportunities, align with client goals, and prepare tailored proposals.
- Monitor emerging trends in energy efficiency, automation, and green finance to strengthen Farnek’s market position.
