Description:

The Pre-Sales Technical Lead reports directly to the Director of Pre-Sales and plays a pivotal role in driving strategic pre-sales engagement across the asset lifecycle for industrial facilities. This position requires a broad understanding of the different phases of the asset lifecycle—ranging from design to operations—and the ability to collaborate with Sales, coordinate internal teams, assess opportunities, and identify process gaps. The goal is to enhance customer digital maturity by aligning current work processes with Octave solutions.
 

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to understand customer business needs and define tailored account strategies that align with desired outcomes.
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations and assessments of customer business practices, workflows, and technical environments.
  • Develop actionable recommendations leveraging Octave Solutions to support digital transformation.
  • Translate customer challenges into solution roadmaps, working closely with Solution Consultants, Industry Consultants, and Product teams.
  • Lead pre-sales engagements including workshops, discovery sessions, solution positioning, value articulation, and proposal development.
  • Provide structured and strategic feedback to influence ongoing product strategy and roadmap development.
  • Support the creation of business and functional requirements in response to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on their digital transformation journeys through Octave' capabilities.
     

Education / Qualifications
 

  • Education: Engineering, Business, or equivalent degree.
  • Experience: Approximately 15 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, consulting, or technical leadership roles, particularly within the industrial facilities.
  • Demonstrated success in business development or industry consulting with a focus on digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of industrial workflows and lifecycle phases across engineering, construction, and operations.
  • Proven ability to interact with all levels of customer stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with developing and presenting strategic roadmaps and digital maturity assessments.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed, multi-national environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% across the EMIA region.
