Technical Manager

Description:

A leading construction company in the UAE is urgently seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee technical operations for major civil infrastructure projects. This opportunity is suitable for a highly experienced engineering professional with strong expertise in roads, highways, utility networks, and large-scale infrastructure developments.

The successful candidate will manage technical coordination, support project execution, ensure engineering standards are maintained, and work closely with project teams, consultants, and government authorities to deliver complex infrastructure projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical management activities for major roads, highways, underpasses, and infrastructure projects.

• Review engineering designs, technical documents, and project requirements to ensure compliance with standards.

• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues.

• Support project planning, execution, and delivery through effective technical guidance.

• Ensure engineering solutions meet project specifications, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.

• Manage technical submissions, design reviews, and coordination processes throughout project phases.

Requirements:

• Minimum 16+ years of professional experience in civil infrastructure projects.

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Technical Manager or Engineering Manager on major roads and infrastructure projects.

Know Worker Rights

• Strong experience in roads, highways, underpasses, and utility network projects within the UAE.

• Experience with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, or similar government authorities is required.

• Proficiency in engineering software including:

• AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• BIM platforms and project coordination tools.

• Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.

• Strong technical leadership, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Large-scale civil infrastructure development.

• Road construction standards and engineering practices.

• Technical documentation, project coordination, and authority approvals.
