Transportation Manager

Description:

A leading educational organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of school transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fleet management, student transportation safety, route planning, and compliance with UAE transportation regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient transportation services, managing drivers and bus attendants, coordinating fleet activities, and maintaining compliance with RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and school transportation safety standards.

This role requires a strong leader with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills who can effectively coordinate with school management, staff, parents, and regulatory authorities to deliver reliable transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily school transportation operations to ensure safe and timely student transport.

• Develop and optimize bus routes, schedules, and pickup/drop-off locations.

• Supervise, train, and evaluate drivers, bus attendants, and transportation team members.

• Ensure compliance with RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and school transportation safety requirements.

• Manage transportation systems, GPS tracking, student transportation records, attendance reports, and operational documentation.

• Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, registration, permits, and fleet roadworthiness.

• Handle transportation-related incidents, complaints, and emergencies professionally and efficiently.

• Liaise with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and relevant authorities regarding compliance and operational requirements.

• Collaborate with school leadership, staff, and parents to maintain high-quality transportation services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in school transportation or fleet management.

• Strong knowledge of RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and school transportation safety standards.

• Proven experience managing transportation systems, GPS tracking, route planning, and fleet operations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.

• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
