Treasury Accountant

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Treasury Accountant to join the finance team of a fast-growing organization within the GCC. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day treasury activities, overseeing cash flow, and maintaining strong banking relationships while ensuring effective liquidity planning and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity across accounts
• Manage bank accounts, payment processing, and regular reconciliations
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization initiatives
• Record, review, and reconcile treasury-related transactions accurately
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities and treasury reporting
• Contribute to treasury strategy, process enhancements, and automation projects
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, support audits, and monitor financial risks

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in treasury operations or cash management, preferably within the GCC
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, treasury controls, and financial operations
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
