Description:
You will drive the strategy, plans and execution of multiple China performance marketing channels. You will gain deep understanding of the Online Travel landscape and operations of a cutting-edge tech company by working closely with product, marketing, and supply teams. Because of the significant impact of these marketing activities have on our overall business, you will have regular interaction with the senior management team, including our CMO, COO, and CEO.
In This Role, You’ll Get To
- Lead a lean team to manage performance marketing channels include PPC and Display advertising for China
- Develop testing strategies from the ground up and establish best practices within the organization, in partnership with key stakeholders
- Identify and search for new opportunities and channels for Agoda’s online presence expansion in China
- Collaborate closely with product, supply, and central marketing teams to activate plan
- Navigate a highly ambiguous and cross-functional space, manage fast moving decisions and communications
- Test and analyze to inform data-backed decisions, refine campaigns based on testing and performance analysis, documenting the results and sharing best practices.
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
- Prior experience (5+ years) in managing performance marketing channels of China or a similar role
- Experience in data analysis packages or databases, i.e. SQL and visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI
- Solid expertise in analysis and reporting, analytical thinking abilities shown to drive insights
- Experience partnering closely with product and tech teams
- Project management experience and fanatical attention to detail
- Effective executive communication style, as demonstrated in both written and verbal formats (Mandarin & English)
- Entrepreneurial spirit/ability and eagerness to try different things with minimal direction
