Description:
Mirage is a globally recognised international consultant specialising in development management, project management, multi-disciplinary design services, cost consultancy, and quantity surveying, particularly in the field of Architecture and Planning. We pride ourselves on delivering excellence and are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site walks to closely oversee civil-structural activities, ensuring materials stacking, work preparation, quality adherence, and safety compliance
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR/NCN) to record contractor specifications' breaches
- Inspect and approve all types of civil and structural items on work inspection requests (WIR) by the contractor
- Inspect for the purpose of approving all types of Architectural non-fitout items
- Participate in snagging activities and maintain detailed records
- Prepare inspection logs, daily reports, and weekly reports
- Prepare quality reports as necessary
- Ensure awareness and understanding of procedures and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site supervision and inspections
- Experience with contractors is essential; experience with consultants is highly preferred
- Strong exposure to residential, villa, and mid-rise building projects
- Must have a valid UAE driving license and own vehicle
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively on-site
