Civil Procurement Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a Civil Procurement Engineer to manage the procurement of long-lead items and materials required for infrastructure projects, issue LPOs, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

• Send inquiries to potential suppliers and collect quotations in accordance with project requirements.
• Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers.
• Prepare comparison sheets and obtain approval from the procurement committee to select the most suitable supplier.
• Issue and send confirmation letters/LPOs to the selected supplier, enabling them to submit materials to the relevant project for consultant approval.
• Support the project team by following up with suppliers on material submittals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement management within the infrastructure sector.
