Housekeeping Supervisor

Al Marwan Group, a leading hospitality provider in Sharjah, is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team. This full-time role requires an individual with at least 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in housekeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene standards, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient performance of duties.

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.

• Manage and assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring all rooms and areas are cleaned and maintained per company standards.

• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and linens, coordinating with procurement for replenishments.

• Train, motivate, and evaluate staff, ensuring continuous improvement.

• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements, ensuring prompt resolution.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and coordinate with the maintenance team.

• Implement health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with hotel and local regulations.

• Assist in creating work schedules and managing departmental budgets.

• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.

• Adhere to environmental and sustainability initiatives within housekeeping operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role in housekeeping.

• Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• High attention to detail and passion for cleanliness.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in basic computer skills.

• Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
