Inventory Controller

Description:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Inventory Controller to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for candidates with proven expertise in inventory management within the shipping sector and strong technical skills in ERP systems and MS Excel. Only candidates currently available in the UAE will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials using ERP and inventory systems
• Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and lead times to ensure smooth operations
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely replenishment
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies efficiently
• Prepare detailed inventory reports, variance analyses, and consumption trend reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and UAE customs regulations

Technical Skills:
• Proficient in MS Excel including stock registers, pivot tables, and reorder tracking
• Knowledge of ABC Analysis, FIFO / LIFO / FEFO methods
• Experience with cycle counting and reorder point planning
• Familiarity with inventory documentation including GRN, MIV, Stock Register, and Variance Reports
