Logistics Specialist

Description:

ALA Group is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Specialist to join its expanding operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about managing efficient supply chain and logistics processes.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth end-to-end logistics operations, including shipment coordination, documentation handling, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations

• Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and freight forwarding activities

• Handle import/export documentation and customs clearance processes

• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers

• Maintain accurate shipping records, including bills of lading and related documents

• Support warehouse and inventory coordination activities

• Monitor logistics performance and suggest process improvements

• Assist in cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles

• Strong knowledge of freight coordination and international shipping procedures

• Understanding of import/export regulations and customs clearance processes

• Familiarity with Incoterms, ERP systems, and logistics software

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools

• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• UAE market experience is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of:

• Supply chain and logistics operations

• Customs clearance and import/export processes

• Freight forwarding and shipment coordination

• Inventory and warehouse support systems
