As our Nursery Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our facility—shaping the learning environment, mentoring our staff, and ensuring every child receives a safe, nurturing, and world-class early years experience.
The Role: What You’ll Do
You will oversee the daily heartbeat of the nursery, balancing operational excellence with educational heart. Your key responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee daily operations, ensure KHDA/RTA/SPEA compliance, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Curriculum Mastery: Implement and monitor the EYFS framework, ensuring diverse and inclusive learning experiences for every child.
- Team Empowerment: Mentor, train, and lead our teaching and support staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture.
- Parent Partnership: Act as the face of Tappy Toes for our families—managing admissions, hosting PTMs, and building lasting community relationships.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, drive enrollment targets, and work closely with the admin team to ensure sustainability.
- Child Wellbeing: Oversee safeguarding measures and manage SEN cases with professionalism and care.
Who We Are Looking For
- Education: Cache Level 5 (or equivalent) in Early Years Education is a must.
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven leadership experience in a nursery or early years setting.
- Compliance: Deep knowledge of EYFS and UAE regulatory requirements (KHDA/SPEA experience preferred).
- Certifications: Valid Pediatric First Aid and Safeguarding certifications.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office and nursery management tools (like Illumine).
- Soft Skills: A leader with high emotional intelligence, adaptability, and exceptional communication skills.
