Offset Printing Machine Operator

Description:

Virgo Packaging is looking for an experienced Offset Printing Machine Operator with hands-on experience operating a Heidelberg PM74 offset printing machine.

The candidate should be able to independently set up, operate, monitor, and maintain the machine while ensuring consistent print quality and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Heidelberg PM74 offset printing machine
• Machine setup, plate mounting and job changeovers
• Ink and colour adjustment / colour matching
• Registration and print-quality control
• Monitor paper feeding, printing and delivery
• Reduce wastage and maintain production efficiency
• Identify and troubleshoot printing/machine issues
• Perform routine cleaning and basic machine maintenance
• Follow production specifications and approved samples
• Maintain a clean and safe working area

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience with Heidelberg PM74 is required
• Strong knowledge of offset printing processes
• Experience with colour matching and print registration
• Ability to work independently
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Attention to print quality and detail
• Experience in packaging/printing production preferred
• UAE experience is preferred
