We are seeking an Operations Costuming Manager (Services) to lead service delivery across all entities, ensuring operational readiness throughout the costume lifecycle, from planning and procurement to distribution, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
This role plays a key part in enhancing colleague experience while ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Lead and develop a team of Assistant Managers, fostering a positive and high-performance culture
- Oversee performance management, training plans, and professional development
- Identify training needs and ensure compliance with HSE, Finance, and Procurement policies
- Manage service provider teams and ensure service level excellence
Operations Management
- Ensure seamless end-to-end costuming operations across all touchpoints
- Monitor contractor performance against SLAs and participate in KPI reviews
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support operational growth
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, and operational timelines
- Manage workforce scheduling, attendance, and grooming compliance
Learning & Development
- Implement training programs and conduct operational onboarding sessions
- Ensure completion of safety and site induction training
- Maintain accurate training records and recommend external programs
Quality Management
- Define and implement service scopes and quality standards
- Conduct material inspections and manage vendor feedback loops
- Monitor laundry quality processes and resolve service issues
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Manage inventory planning, replenishment, and stock control
- Oversee procurement processes (PR to PO) and delivery tracking
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and manage shrinkage risks
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and vendors
Strategic & Operational Support
- Support department budgeting and cost monitoring
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, projects, and service enhancements
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Garment Care, Textile, or Fashion-related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in textile/customer service industries, including 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of:
- Textile and garment standards
- Laundry operations (industrial & domestic)
- Inventory and operational planning
- Quality and risk management
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication skills (English – written & verbal)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Experience with process improvement and operational systems (ERP/M365)
Desirable
- Experience in fashion retail, garment care, or hospitality industries
- ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
- Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certifications
- Knowledge of garment distribution systems and automation tools
