Operations Supervisor

NPOWA Solutions is actively seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead and manage our freight forwarding operations in Dubai, UAE. This is a full-time position for a results-driven logistics professional with proven expertise in freight management and team supervision. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in freight forwarding within Dubai or Saudi Arabia, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be capable of maintaining operational excellence in a dynamic logistics environment.

This position involves supervising the daily activities of the freight operations team, ensuring that processes run smoothly, and that all deliveries meet client expectations. The successful candidate will play a key role in resolving logistical challenges, managing staff performance, and supporting the growth and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the freight forwarding team, ensuring timely and accurate shipment handling.

• Manage end-to-end logistics processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor team performance, set operational goals, and ensure KPIs are met.

• Proactively identify and address issues related to shipping delays, customs, and coordination challenges.

• Foster a productive team environment and provide guidance, support, and leadership to operational staff.

• Liaise with internal departments and external partners to streamline freight workflows.

• Maintain documentation and ensure up-to-date records for all freight movement.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is mandatory.

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding and logistics supervision.

• Strong operational knowledge of the Dubai and/or Saudi Arabia freight market.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing teams.

• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

• Ability to resolve issues swiftly while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
