Procurement Officer

Royal Joinery has its own dedicated workshop to assist clients on high-profile projects that require international expertise and a degree of workmanship that eliminates the need to source subcontractors and third-party furniture suppliers. Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialties across various projects and sectors through the delivery of sophisticated, qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities for fit-out and interior projects. The role involves sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, issuing LPOs, and ensuring timely delivery in line with project schedules and budgets
 

• Key Responsibilities:
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for fit-out materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and MEP components.
• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and subcontract agreements.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Track and monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time and in good condition.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor lists, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance/accounts teams for smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and local regulations.
• Identify alternative suppliers and materials in case of delays or shortages.
• Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting material requirements.
• Resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, and claims efficiently.
