We’re Hiring – Quantity Surveyor 👷‍
Al Malihi Transporting & Contracting is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a seasoned civil professional who can manage costing, contract administration, and commercial control for large-scale infrastructure, roadworks and bridge projects. Candidates must be available in the UAE.

Role Overview:
• Prepare accurate bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender submissions for infrastructure works.
• Monitor project costs, valuations, variations and claims through to final account.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain commercial clarity and control.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out quantity take-offs, prepare detailed estimates and BOQs at different project stages.
• Produce interim valuations, progress claims and final account settlements.
• Manage variation orders, change control and claim documentation.
• Assess subcontractor quotations and prepare commercial recommendations.
• Maintain precise measurement records, contract documents and cost reports.

Requirements:
• 8–15 years’ quantity surveying experience on infrastructure, highways, earthworks or bridge projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of measurement methods, rate analysis, and contract procedures.
• Proficiency with estimating tools and MS Office; familiarity with UAE contracting rules is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; candidates must be available in the UAE.
