Description:
We’re hiring a Regional Sales Director to lead distributor growth across our highest-potential MENA and Southeast Asian markets. You’ll prospect, pitch, and close new partners, then drive reorders and regional growth—supported by a senior advisor and an operations manager.
Note: LATAM and other regions are managed by separate hires.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch, and close high-quality distributors in assigned markets
- Maintain a pipeline of 50+ active prospects and update CRM weekly
- Negotiate commercial terms (territory, opening order, margins, marketing support)
- Coordinate product registration with external regulatory specialists
- Achieve a 65%+ reorder rate within six months of each launch
A reorder is defined as a second PO placed within six months.
- Represent Sona at Beautyworld Middle East, Cosmoprof Asia, and other regional shows
- Travel to the region quarterly (5–7 days per trip) for in-market meetings and training
What You Bring
- 3–5 years closing international beauty or FMCG distributor deals
- Active relationships in at least two priority markets
- Track record of USD $1 million+ annual distributor sales
- Proven ability to launch new brands (not just grow established ones)
- Fluent in English; Arabic, Mandarin, Bahasa, or another relevant language is a plus
- Comfortable reviewing commercial contracts and working across time zones
- Nice to have: relationships with Watsons, Boots, or other regional beauty retailers
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
