Daikan Izakaya is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead its pre-opening team at Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who can build a high-performing team, oversee daily restaurant operations, and deliver an outstanding dining experience from day one.

The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with experience managing busy restaurant environments. You will play a key role in launching the restaurant, developing a positive team culture, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the restaurant’s pre-opening operations and prepare the team for a successful launch

• Oversee daily restaurant activities and ensure smooth front-of-house operations

• Build, train, and motivate a high-performing team

• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain an exceptional guest experience

• Monitor operational performance and maintain high service standards

• Foster a positive workplace culture and support continuous team development

Requirements:

• Proven experience managing a high-volume restaurant

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to perform effectively in a pre-opening environment

• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building a strong team culture

• Strong knowledge of:

• Restaurant operations and front-of-house management

• Team leadership and staff development

• Customer service excellence and operational standards

• Interest in Japanese cuisine and izakaya dining concepts will be considered an advantage
