Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Quantity Surveyor with a background in civil construction to join our project team in the UAE
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the entire project and makes estimations for quantity of materials and labour that will be required for completing the project.
- Conducts feasibility studies, writes procurement reports and contract management techniques.
- Ensure timely data of subcontractor bill and material costs to accounts.
- Analyze dessign decoments, specifications and report writing.
- Deals with post contract cost variances and the change control processes.
- Prepares quality and cost reports and submits to the Project Manager.
- Prepare final statements, discharge, project close-outs and settlement of final accounts.
- Obtain quotations from subcontractors and compare the rates and credentials.
- Certify progress claims and payments to sub-contractors againts work completed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 year experience on site in the UAE mainly in high rise buildings
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Hands on aspects of quantity surveying and experience in FIDIC condition of contract.
