About the Role
- As a Strategy & Investments Specialist for one of ICAN's clients, you will play a central role in supporting investment-led strategies and ensuring their effective execution through structured program management.
- You will work across strategy formulation, investment evaluation, and delivery governance, translating strategic and investment objectives into executable plans across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- This role is suited for professionals with experience in Big4, MBB, investment platforms, or advisory environments, particularly within hospitality, tourism, or asset-heavy sectors.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of corporate and portfolio-level strategies, with a focus on growth, investment prioritization, and value creation
- Conduct investment analysis including market assessments, feasibility studies, business case development, and financial modelling
- Translate strategic and investment priorities into structured execution roadmaps, with clear milestones, dependencies, and KPIs
- Design and implement program governance frameworks, including decision rights, reporting structures, and performance tracking mechanisms
- Manage multi-workstream initiatives across strategy and investment programs, ensuring alignment, delivery discipline, and risk mitigation
- Track project performance, identify risks and issues, and drive resolution through structured escalation and stakeholder alignment
- Lead and facilitate steering committees, investment reviews, and senior stakeholder discussions
- Ensure consistency, quality, and rigor across all client deliverables
- Contribute to the development of strategy, investments, and project management methodologies
About the Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in strategy, investments, or advisory roles
- Experience within Big4, MBB, sovereign entities, investment firms, or asset-heavy operating environments is strongly preferred
- Proven exposure to investment analysis, feasibility studies, or portfolio strategy
- Strong program and project management capability, including governance design, planning, and risk management
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, real estate, or investment-driven sectors is critical
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and structured problem-solving skills
