Audit Manager

Description:

A well-established organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Audit Manager with strong exposure to the heavy manufacturing sector. This role is critical in enhancing governance standards, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to audit management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end audit process, including planning, execution, documentation, and reporting
• Evaluate internal control systems and recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and support regulatory compliance initiatives
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to audit team members to ensure high performance
• Work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO and Audit Committee, to present findings and drive corrective actions

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal or external audit
• Proven hands-on exposure to operations within the manufacturing or heavy industry sector
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and reporting capabilities
