The Deep Seafood Company is currently looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to become part of their growing team in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that daily accounting operations run efficiently and professionally. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and has a strong understanding of accounting practices within the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities
• Maintain and update the general ledger, including accurate posting of journal entries
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
• Process supplier invoices and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting VAT compliance requirements
• Monitor expenses and contribute to effective financial management practices

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Solid understanding of general accounting standards and procedures
• Familiarity with VAT processes and UAE tax regulations is highly preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational abilities
