Logistics Controller

Description:

We are expanding our logistics team and currently seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Controller to join our operations in Sharjah. This role is critical in ensuring smooth customs processing, shipment coordination, and compliance with UAE and international trade regulations.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience working within the Hamriyah Free Zone and a strong understanding of import/export documentation and customs clearance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customs clearance for Free Zone, local, GCC, and international export shipments

• Prepare and process all required documentation including Bills of Entry, customs invoices, and import/export paperwork

• Coordinate shipment bookings across land, sea, and air transportation channels

• Track shipments closely and resolve any delays, customs holds, or border-related issues

• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations and Letter of Credit requirements

• Collect, verify, and process shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, and Truck Consignee Notes

• Monitor customs duties and manage deposit refund processes

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and documentation

• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs authorities, banks, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations

Requirements:

• Mandatory experience in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah

• 3–4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or customs clearance roles

• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation requirements

• Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email communication

• Good command of English; Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage
