Logistics Operations Executive

Description:

This is a hands-on operational role managing end-to-end container movement from Yard to Port and vice versa, efficiently & independently.

• Arrange and coordinate trucks for container transportation
• Ensure timely movement of loaded and empty containers
• Collect and process port tokens for container release
• Manage documentation including BLs, delivery orders, gate passes, and line-related paperwork
• Monitor container returns and avoid demurrage/detention exposure
• Coordinate with NVOCCs, Forwarders, and Shipping Lines (e.g., Maersk, MSC, & other main lines)
• Coordinate with yards, drivers, port authorities, and shipping agents
• Maintain 24/7 operational oversight to ensure smooth supply chain flow

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be based in Sharjah, UAE

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, and container operations in UAE

• Strong knowledge of UAE Port procedures and container release procedures & documentation

• Experience dealing with Shipping Lines, NVOCC operators, and Transporters

• Strong documentation and organizational skills

• Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under pressure

• Arabic/Hindi/Urdu speaking is a plus
