On behalf of our client, a diversified business group operating in construction and medical supplies, we are currently recruiting a Senior Accountant (Chartered Accountant) to join their finance team in Abu Dhabi. This is a key role suited for a qualified finance professional with leadership potential and strong technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and financial reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Supervise and support two junior team members

Candidate Profile:

• Chartered Accountant (CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
• Industry experience in construction, trading, or medical supplies is a plus
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE statutory requirements
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• Must be currently based in the UAE and willing to work or relocate to Abu Dhabi.
