Senior Accountant

Description:

A reputable organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in accounting within the UAE, strong knowledge of financial operations, and the ability to lead and supervise a team effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Oversee accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Manage banking operations, including LC/BG, and coordinate with banks for facilities
• Supervise junior accounting staff and maintain strong internal controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or ACCA preferred
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in the UAE
• Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting and banking operations
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team efficiently
