Description:
ProCount for Accounting is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their expanding Finance & Accounting division in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can manage a wide range of responsibilities including financial reporting, taxation, forecasting, management reporting, and client advisory services. The selected candidate will play an important role in guiding financial decisions and supporting overall business performance through accurate reporting and strong analytical insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Oversee all tax-related obligations including VAT submissions, corporate tax calculations, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and cash flow projections.
- Develop comprehensive management reports and analytical dashboards that reflect key operational and financial trends.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial results.
- Manage and maintain strong client relationships while acting as a trusted financial advisor for assigned accounts.
- Review and verify bookkeeping entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support all audit-related activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of practical experience in accounting or financial analysis; prior experience within an audit or accounting firm is preferred.
- Solid understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and UAE Corporate Tax laws.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing financial statements and producing management reports.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and communication skills.
- Proficient in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel/Power BI usage.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are considered a plus.
